Pantone Colour Detection

Here is an example personalisation app that detects the PMS colours in uploaded logos https://my.gateway3d.com/acp/app/?l=acp2&p=1068817&c=4y1zn44mq8wqm9j

When you upload a logo the Gateway will identify the main PMS colours in that image and display on the screen 

For applicable vector formats such as AI and EPS the Pantone name comes directly from the file. For raster images or vector files that don't have any Pantones defined, the system will try to match them as best as it can based on this list: http://www.labelpartners.com/pantone_coated_table.html

The Pantone references identified are stored in Gateway OMS to help production and can be changed in two places:

1) Within the app before an order is created
2) In our order management system (OMS)

Whether an app detects the Pantone Colours is decided in the App Configuration options

 

Currently only Gateway Staff can create custom configs - please raise a support ticket by emailing support@custom-gateway.zendesk.com detailing the options you require.
