Online Artwork Example Terms & Conditions for Sellers

Follow

When enabling your customers to create and proof their jobs online it is important to have clear guidelines and conditions of use listed below are the main areas to consider

In App Terms

These can be part of your online designer and can be accepted by ticking a box

General - I have checked my design for spelling, colours, position and size and understand that I cannot make any changes once my order has been placed. I also understand that I cannot return any personalised products unless they are faulty or damaged

Copyright - By uploading images to our online designer you are confirming that you have the appropriate intellectual property rights to use them and furthermore indemnify our company for all liability resulting from any breach of intellectual property warranty.

For Garments - please check your required sizes carefully before placing your order as we cannot accept returns once garments have been personalised - click here for size guide

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

More detailed terms and conditions can be divided into the following areas

Artwork Formats

The maximum file size that our server will allow is 60MB. There is no restriction on the pixel size of an image.

The main supported formats are:

  • JPG
  • PNG
  • TIFF
  • GIF
  • BMP
  • SVG

We also have support for EPS, AI and PDF files however we cannot guarantee that all files of these types will be handled correctly. Simple images should be fine but more complex multi layered files may not always work. as expected

Image Quality

Our system creates print ready artwork at 300dpi for most decoration methods so it is always a good idea to use artwork of a similar quality when uploading your own images

All products are set with an image quality warning and will advise you when uploading if your image does not conform to the suggested minimum quality standard for that product. If you are warned but still choose to proceed with your order then we cannot except any responsibility for low print quality

As a general rule if your image looks blurred or low quality on the screen then it will look the same on the product so do not proceed with your order and contact our support team

Where possible we recommend you fill the full decoration area on any product and that you use images that are equal to or larger than the recommended sizes

We also recommend using an sRGB colour profile for images. However, we do support and convert most CMYK based images as well

Customer Returns

We are sorry but we cannot accept any return on personalised products unless they are faulty or damaged as the products are produced especially for you to your specifications and cannot be sold to anybody else

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Artwork Changes

Always make sure you have checked your design carefully for any errors with spelling, colours, positioning or size as our process is automated and once your order is placed it goes directly into our fulfilment centre for production so we cannot accept any changes to your artwork after this point. Any changes requested after your order has been placed are subject to an additional artwork charge

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Data Protection
Our services enable you to upload your own images and logos which we (or our agents and subcontractors) will store digitally to enable you to order customisable products made from your Images or logos. These images are stored and managed in line with the UK Data Protection Act 1998

Online Embroidery Guidelines

Our online garment designer can auto digitize your uploaded artwork into a realistic simulation of the finished embroidery

By default it will auto remove your design background before attempting to stitch your design onto your chosen garment

The Auto Digitization process will give good results with good artwork and poor results from poor artwork.

A minimum artwork resolution of between 150 to 300 dpi at the real embroidery size is recommended

Your images should also ideally have

  • A maximum size of 1500 x 1500 pixels
  • Clean solid colour areas
  • No anti-aliasing at colour boundaries
  • No colour shading or gradients
  • Either a white, transparent or distinct colour background that is a different colour from all the other elements in your design
  • No small details that can’t be easily embroidered
  • No small text - this can be added separately in the text editor
