The Personalise-iT App can be installed in any modern eCommerce website. The Developers API documentation or a Magento Extension can be used or we can refer you to development partners who can implement into Wordpress, Shopify, Joomla and Magento if you need assistance.
To complete the installation you will need to have the payment details set up for your subscription with G3D Accounts Department so we can issue you the necessary API Key, GUID and your Log-in details to the Custom Product Platform.
The usual recommended approach is to install the App and set up any 2D templates for products you produce yourself and Gateway 3D can provide a 3D modelling service for setting up 3D WebGL models of your products. If 3rd party suppliers are being used from the Supplier List please discuss this with our Explainers Department as trade accounts will need setting up with the suppliers you want to work with.
3rd party suppliers products will be enabled to your log-in to CPP and your product templates need setting up. Once complete a simple CSV file export can be run in CPP for you to them import the products into your website. All product details including descriptions, SKU's, pricing and the iFrame URL, which is generated in the CPP, will be imported into relevant field in the website database. The App itself will then recognise if an iFrame URL is present in the relevant new field created by implementing the App and display the URL in the iFrame to the specification you have set.
Once the site is live and a customer designs their products and places an order, the Payment Service Provider confirms the payment and the Platform receives a callback to generate the order, artwork and delivery note. This is then routed to the relevant supplier for that specific product whether in-house production or a third party.
