Configuring Your Facebook App

After you've installed the Facebook App on your Facebook page, there's a number of configuration options that appear below the app to administrators of that page.  (You must be logged into the CPP to view these).

 

 

Product ID

This is the 7-digit product ID of the product that you would like to load when the app first loads.  You can obtain these from the Gateway 3D CPP in the Product Management section.

Sample ID

This is the 5-digit sample ID of the sample that you would like to load when the app first loads.  You can obtain these from the Gateway 3D CPP in the Sample Manager section.

Company Ref ID

This is the 5-digit GUID that links the product purchased to the correct supplier.  You can obtain these from the Gateway 3D CPP in the Companies section.

Layout

This is the layout reference of the app layout that you are using.  You can obtain these from the Gateway 3D CPP or ask a member of the support team.

Configuration

This is the configuration reference of the app configuration that you are using.  You can obtain these from the Gateway 3D CPP or ask a member of the support team.

Gallery Ref(s)

This is the gallery reference of the gallery that you wish to offer the user.  You can offer multiple galleries by separating them with a comma.  You can obtain these from the Gateway 3D CPP in the Personalise-iT Image Galleries section.

Product Category

This is the 5-digit category ID that you wish to offer the user to select products from.  You can offer multiple categories by separating them with a comma.  You can obtain these from the Gateway 3D CPP in the Product Categories section.

a2c Callback

This is a URL that links back to your shopping cart.  The URL will look something like this https://www.yoursite.com/personalise-it/product/callback where yoursite.com is the URL of your site.  The site that the app links back to must have an SSL certificate installed as you cannot link from Facebook, which uses HTTPS, to a page that uses HTTP.

EPA API

This is a URL that pulls in pricing information for the products from your site.  The URL looks something like this https://www.yoursite.com/personalise-it/product/epa where yoursite.com is the URL of your site.    The site that the app pulls the prices in from must have an SSL certificate installed as you cannot link from Facebook, which uses HTTPS, to a page that uses HTTP.

Locale

This is a reference to a translation that has been set up for the app.  If available for the layout and the language, you can obtain these from Gateway 3D by asking a member of the support team.

    This doesn't seem to match what the Admin settings on Facebook app actually look like.. Does this support entry need updating?
