Background Removal Tool
The ACP layout now has a new tool that allows the user to remove contiguous regions of colour.
The tool can be opened by clicking on the scissors icon next to the “Upload Image” button.
Once the tool has loaded, simply clicking on a region of the image will remove the clicked region and any contiguous areas that have a similar colour (the tolerance of which can be adjusted with the tolerance slider).
The process can be repeated several times to remove multiple areas of colour.
Clicking “Save” will then save the image and load it into the designer.
How is Tolerance Calculated?
Tolerance is calculated as a percentage of each colour channel.
For example. a tolerance of 50% means that any pixels where each channel is to within +/- 50% of the original clicked pixel will be removed.
